Fine & Country licensees across the UK swapped property brochures for baked goods on Thursday 12 June as offices nationwide hosted a Coffee Morning in support of The Fine & Country Foundation.
From Diss to Jersey, offices including Woodbridge, South Devon, Brighton and Hove, Droitwich Spa and Bury St Edmunds joined in along with Fine & Country’s Head Office in London.
Shopfronts were decorated with colourful balloons and bespoke bunting, transforming agency windows into pop-up bakeries for the day.
Passers-by were tempted in with freshly brewed coffee and an array of homemade treats, including classic Victoria sponge, gooey brownies and other sweet offerings, all prepared by staff.
GRASSROOTS CHARITIES

The Foundation’s Coffee Morning is one of the agency network’s most loved fundraising events and this year raised nearly £1,800, with all proceeds directed to grassroots charities supporting those experiencing homelessness both in the UK and abroad.
At the Head Office event in London (pictured right), Emilie Despois, Trustee of The Fine & Country Foundation, praised the initiative.
She says: “This is one of my favourite events of the year, eating cake and doing good for a worthy cause – what is not to love!

“I am delighted that 2025’s Coffee Morning has raised a considerable amount of money again to assist us in our mission to continue to support homeless charities around the world.
“This event has been a staple in The Foundation’s event calendar for many years, and the proceeds received have helped us to achieve an incredible total of over £1,000,000 in donations since The Foundation’s inception.”

Since its launch, The Fine & Country Foundation has grown into a significant charitable presence within the property sector, helping to fund shelter, support services and community projects for vulnerable individuals globally.
This year’s Coffee Morning was another demonstration of how local action can drive real change and that sometimes, making a difference really can start with a slice of cake.
