Chestertons strengthens lettings arm with agency acquisition

Chestertons has expanded its London lettings operation with the acquisition of W Property Consultants, a specialist online agency with a sizeable portfolio of rental homes across the capital.

The deal adds further scale to one of London’s oldest estate agencies, which has been building its presence in the competitive lettings market amid rising demand from international landlords.
W Property Consultants, founded in 2018, has grown rapidly by serving a broad base of clients, particularly overseas investors with properties in prime London postcodes.

The acquisition is expected to bolster Chestertons’ reach in key rental markets and support its strategy of combining traditional high-street coverage with digitally driven management services.

REMOTE FULL-SERVICE MANAGEMENT

W Property Consultants was set up by London-born business partners Wai Yee Shing and Wai Yee Tang, who established the firm after successful careers in Hong Kong. The business has built a strong reputation among landlords based in Asia, many of whom rely on remote, full-service management.

Wai Yee Shing says: “W Property Consultants’ dedication to providing exceptional service to our clients aligns perfectly with the values of Chestertons, a company renowned as one of the best lettings agents in London with one of the largest branch networks.

“We are confident that this move will ensure that our clients will continue to benefit from leading tenants and informed industry advice amid an ever-evolving market.”

Adam Jennings (main picture, inset), Chestertons’ Head of Lettings, adds: “We are delighted to welcome W Property Consultants into the Chestertons family and look forward to working closely with its clients and customers.”
