Estate agencies Chestertons and Chase Buchanan, both part of Campions Group, have joined forces again this year and invite the public to donate as many unwanted winter coats, fleeces and gilets as possible for charity Calling London.
From Monday, 20th October until Friday, 21st November, Chestertons is opening collection points in its 30+ branches for the 12th consecutive year whilst Chase Buchanan welcomes donations at five of its London branches.
Last year, the public’s phenomenal support helped the agencies collect over 10,000 warm winter coats and jackets which have been donated to 30+ charities that help vulnerable Londoners. This year, the goal is to secure at least 11,000 donations.
Once the Coat Drive ends on 21st November, donations are taken to a sorting centre before being distributed to over 30 charities helping the homeless, victims of domestic abuse, those living in poverty, the elderly as well as children and young adults.
CREATING REAL CHANGE
Sara Scasseddu, Assistant Marketing Manager at Campions Group, says: “London is a wonderful city, but it can also be a challenging place to live, especially with the rising cost of living.
“That’s why initiatives like Calling London are so important – they bring people together and create real change for those who need it most.

COAT DRIVE SUCCESS
Frances Manthos, Founder of Calling London, adds: “The demand for a warm winter coat grows every year, and so my collaboration with Chestertons and Chase Buchanan is invaluable to the success of the Coat Drive.”
And she adds: “It allows more members of the public to donate across London and that means we can distribute to all those charitable groups who are waiting for our coats for their clients. We have a particular need for men’s coats and puffer jackets this year.”
Chestertons and Chase Buchanan are urging Londoners to drop their unwanted winter items to their branches before 21st November. Clean, warm coats, jackets, gilets and fleeces of all colours and sizes are required.
