Bidwells ramps up London planning push with two partner hires

Bidwells has strengthened its London planning capability with the appointment of two new partners as it looks to deepen its presence in the capital.

Matthew Pigott and Tim Sturgess (main picture, left and right) bring more than 30 years’ combined experience in complex planning across London and the South East, with both set to be based in the firm’s London office.
The hires form part of a wider strategy to expand Bidwells’ planning offer in London, with a focus on navigating increasingly complex development schemes across residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors.

Sturgess joins as Group Partner and will lead the firm’s Outer London and South East planning proposition. Pigott joins as Partner, with a strong track record across central and wider London.

DECADES OF EXPERIENCE

Sturgess brings nearly two decades of experience in residential-led mixed-use development and strategic site promotion, including work on urban extensions, estate regeneration and employment-led schemes.

Pigott meanwhile joins as Partner, with a strong track record across central and wider London. His expertise spans commercial development, including office refurbishment, retrofit and mixed-use redevelopment, alongside experience in tall buildings and high-density urban schemes.
