Belvoir launches 366 Days of Giving charity campaign

Belvoir has launched its 366 Days of Giving charity campaign for 2024, with franchisees and their teams from various brands within the Group being invited to donate their time and energy to local charity campaigns and good causes.

Belvoir Franchise Director Ian Maclean says: “We first started this campaign in 2023 and our aim then was to achieve 365 Days of Giving. Our franchisees from across the different brands really got on board with this and we smashed our target and completed a fantastic 389 days of volunteering, charity events and community activities.”
VERY DIFFERENT

Ian Maclean, BelvoirIan Maclean, BelvoirMaclean adds: “This year we used the Belvoir National Conference to relaunch the campaign, and because 2024 is a leap year, it is now the 366 Days of Giving campaign.

“We believe our charity campaign is very different to others, as it recognises that times are tough for people, and money is tight. For this reason, not only are we encouraging our franchisees across the UK to take part in local fundraisers, we are also asking them to consider volunteering their time to local charities and community activities, which we then record on our charity database.

“At the Belvoir Annual Awards last month, we recognised the efforts of Ben and Daisy Davies and the team at Belvoir Swansea, Mumbles and Sketty who became our Community Champions for 2024, because of their phenomenal efforts of taking part in, organising, and supporting many big running events in their area throughout the year.

OFF TO A GOOD START

“I am delighted to report that this year’s campaign has already got off to a good start, with Belvoir Mansfield donating large numbers of Easter eggs to families in need, as well as taking part in a 10km walk to raise funds for Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity.

“We know many other offices from brands within the Group have plans for charity events in 2024, and the franchise support team at Belvoir Central Office in Grantham are also looking forward to volunteering for various local projects in the town. We are all feeling very confident that we will hit our target of 366 Days of Giving, and in doing so will make a big difference to local communities.”
