Fast-growing UK agency brokerage Avocado Property has announced a strategic partnership with European real estate platform iad.
The alliance brings together Avocado’s UK-based, marketing-led brokerage model with iad’s international scale and infrastructure, creating an expanded platform for self-employed agents.
iad operates one of Europe’s largest real estate networks, with more than 20,000 agents across multiple markets including Europe, Mexico and Florida.
The partnership is designed to enhance earning potential and business growth opportunities for agents, combining localised UK expertise with a broader international support system and scalable operating model.
LONG-TERM VALUE
Ian Macbeth, co-founder of Avocado Property, says: “The combined model strengthens what self-employed estate agency should deliver, autonomy, flexibility and the opportunity to build a valuable, income-generating business with long-term value.
“Avocado and iad agents will now enjoy the best of both worlds – the autonomy of running their own business, backed by stronger support, improved capability and wider opportunity to mentor new agents looking to join a self-employed brokerage.”
LEVELLING UP

Lee O’Brien, managing director of iad UK, adds: “This is what levelling up looks like. The UK estate agency model is evolving quickly. The agents who win over the next five years will be the ones who combine local expertise with the right platform behind them.
“By joining forces with Avocado, we’re bringing together proven UK performance with a platform built to help agents earn more, grow faster and build something of real long-term value.”
Macbeth says the deal will allow the business to retain its culture while scaling its reach, adding: “This partnership will no doubt mean we can all support more quality agents and help more homeowners truly enjoy moving house in the UK.”
