Atomic Consultancy launches Boom! podcast for agency owners

Atomic Consultancy, the specialist in estate and lettings agency acquisitions, has launched a new podcast series designed specifically for agency owners navigating the fast-evolving world of mergers and acquisitions.

Titled Boom!, the series aims to provide a front-row seat to the real stories behind business sales and growth journeys.
Available on YouTube, Spotify and social channels, Boom promises practical insight and authentic discussion from those who have lived through the process – from independent agency founders to industry dealmakers and finance experts.

Hosted by Lucy Noonan (main picture, right), Founder of Atomic Consultancy, the podcast draws on her extensive experience supporting agents through their acquisition and exit journeys.

AGENCY STRATEGY

Each episode focuses on the reality of selling, buying or scaling an agency – the challenges, the strategy, and the personal impact behind every transaction.

The first episode features Will Linley (main picture, left), known across the industry as “the King of Acquisitions” and founder of Linley & Simpson, who discusses equity funding, merging with Lomond, the current state of the market, what makes a successful deal and how to navigate acquisitions from both sides of the table.

STAR LINE-UP

Future guests include Kye Wheatley, former owner of Keatons, one of London’s most respected independent agencies, who reflects on selling his business and how life has evolved since completing the deal.

Noonan says: “Boom is all about real conversations with real people. We wanted to give agency owners an honest look at what happens behind the scenes of a sale, the highs, the challenges, and the valuable lessons learned along the way.

“No jargon, no hard sell, just genuine, experience-based insight.”

For Atomic, the name Boom captures the energy and momentum behind every successful sale – the culmination of preparation, opportunity and partnership that defines the company’s ethos.

INFORMED, PREPARED, INSPIRED

“Selling your business can be one of the biggest and most emotional decisions of your life,” Noonan adds.

“Boom was created to help agency owners feel more informed, prepared, and inspired. It’s a space to learn from those who’ve done it and done it well.”

With each episode blending personal storytelling and practical advice, Boom aims to become essential listening for anyone considering their next move in the agency world – whether buying, selling or simply planning ahead.

The first episode of Boom is available now on YouTube, Spotify and social platforms.
