All-female consultancy lands first multi-million pound deal

It’s been a busy year for Atomic Consultancy, the acquisition specialists founded by, Lucy Noonan, with the firm proud to announce the completion of its first multi-million pound deal.

And what better way to hit such a milestone, as the deal in question involves another renowned name within the UK property market – Miles and Barr.
It’s been just three years since Lucy Noonan founded Atomic Consultancy, with the aim of helping lettings and estate agents across the country negotiate the risky and challenging process of selling a business, with practical, honest and affordable support.

The firm, which offers to value businesses free of charge, has already formed an impressive list of clients that includes some of the biggest names in UK estate agency – from Belvoir to Dexters, Connells to The Property Franchise Group – to name but a few.

MILES AND BARR

Now, Atomic Consultancy can add the well renowned name of Miles and Barr to that list, having been pivotal in the firm’s recent sale to the UK’s leading acquirer of estate agency businesses – Lomond.  with Atomic already facilitating the sale of Purplebricks’ Scottish lettings portfolio to the firm earlier this year.

However, Atomic’s latest deal marks a significant milestone in the short history of the business – its first multi-million pound completion. What’s more, it sees the firm complete on no less than 97 deals in just three short years of business, a commendable achievement in its own right.

“Atomic has already generated over 100 five star reviews.”

No surprise then, that this year Atomic has already generated over 100 five star reviews and was also recognised by the ESTAS this month, winning an award as one of the top 5% of suppliers within the industry.

The all-female business has demonstrated to the industry that it can operate at the very top of an extremely competitive space and the success of the business is made all the more impressive by the fact that all those working at Atomic are also working parents, juggling their professional endeavours with the demands of family life.

“As an all female-team, this success is all the sweeter, as we’ve certainly faced our fair share of sceptics and, having now completed on 97 deals in just three years, we believe we have more than proved our worth in such a highly competitive space.”

Mark Brooks, Chief Executive of Miles & Barr, adds: “Working with Lucy and her team has been a pleasure and they were able to immediately grasp the sellers mindset, intuitively providing advice on the processes, as well as the emotional journey that plays such a large part on the road to completion, and beyond.

“They secured a buyer for us that I feel perfectly fit our business and they helped us negotiate a deal that worked for us as a seller, supported our teams and worked for our buyers.

“At times, when we needed it, Lucy acted as chief motivator, chief cheerleader and sometimes eve chief counsellor.”
